In the "Siamese Twins" project, I explore the transformation of the physicality of objects as a metaphor for the malfunction of certain types of relationships with others, or with past and virtual selves. An image of merging represents dilution of identity and discomfort, necessitating adjustment and compromise. This work delves into the experience of lacking privacy, examining the tension and loss of freedom and functionality.
The notion of the inviolability of a subject's boundaries appears to be an illusion to me. Instead, I perceive the fragility of the assumed integrity, leaving one suspended in surreal symbiosis.
