Sandbox Series

The Sandbox series explores the fragility and frailty of such a routine object as cardboard box, recreating it through a complex technology in another material, strongly associated with fleeting and transient time – sand.  For this series I manually created an individual mold for each cardboard box that I later casted (using a hollow casting technique) a special compound of my own invention based on regular sand.
