I would love to show off, to stand on a pedestal to be admired. My shape is soft and luscious and, I let you look at me-as long as you can see me.
What do we perceive? How do we perceive and how deep do our perceptions go? Can we understand or feel those around us? Sometimes, yes; sometimes, no. The complexity of people and all their different points of view is fascinating. These are some of the questions I have asked myself in my life.
I love lightness, agility, fluidity, softness, flexibility, these sensations fascinate me particularly. I find them represented in the physicality of women and oriental disciplines such as yoga, who express a great sense of strength, that is in bending to the extreme and not breaking, the strength of accumulating, resisting, taking energy from the outside world and then use it at the right time.
The charm of parametric architecture in which is mixed human expertise with a chasuble component has always fascinated and has been a great source of inspiration for me, the association to the human figure with parametric design was my challenge in the last four years.
The plastic material I am working with allows me to best represent this extreme need for lightness which at the same time is linked to a high breaking strength, great ductility and flexibility.
