The waxed material is velvety soft, while the heavy weight of the cherry wood has a strong contrast.For me, these polarizing opposites symbolize the hard realities of human existence, which are often cleverly concealed behind decorated facades.In contrast to many of my sculptures, I have opted for the non-figurative representation.
