Praise Be! The Church Is Crumbling Under Its Own Weight.

Through this project I explore aspects of historical contingencies, paradigm shifts, self fulfilling prophecies and unforeseen consequences. I try to convey quirky and speculative relationships between the past and the present and how fringe contemporary culture could be a prelude for what the future holds. The blue church, it is a metaphor coined by an unknown redditer but popularized by writer Jordan Hall to refer to the now growing old sense making apparatus of state, media and academia. Here, I try to expanding the metaphor as a place holder for what seems to be a genuine, generational paradigm shift.
