Installation "Placenta" by Ilaria Pisciottani (Made in 2018 for the award-winning photographic project Palingenesi) was created in 2018 to support me in a photographic project that I personally conceived and developed entitled "PALINGENESI" (Images of a rebirth)
A somewhat surreal photoreportage, which stems from my simple but urgent need to try to sensitize the consciences of modern individuals on the various social issues of pollution, morality, values etc ... in order to avoid that all our desire to be "civilly correct" can be traced back to mere and useless legislative prohibitions. The Placenta is a viable visual art installation, you can enter it only by putting yourself on the ground and crawling inside with humility, then lying in a fetal position that will remember the 9 months spent in the amniotic fluid in the belly maternal. It is a multisensory path dedicated to those who want to experience and recall the the most solemn, divine and sacred moment of our existence, our birth. Through listening to 4 audio messages lying inside the placenta, you will awaken memories and the reasons why you came to light. Everything is still present at the ancestral level, even if we have lost the Memory is imprinted in our cells. The lyrics and audios of my work Palingenesi are edited by Claudia Achilli (March 7, 1974) Graduated in Literature, Music and Entertainment. Actress and author of theater. The installation "Placenta" Palingenesi has had a wide consensus of both national and international public, already from its first exhibition at Palazzo Velli Trastevere in 2019 within the contemporary art exhibition "Connect with us" that I had the pleasure of conceiving and organizing with my Art group New Format Art, but also in my other personal photography exhibitions and at Paratissima in Turin in 2020. Il Paratissima Art Station di Torino accoglie Palingenesi, l'opera dell'apriliana Ilaria Pisciottani (ilmessaggero.it) More than a thousand people have entered the placenta since 2019 It would be great if the installation "Placenta" could be admitted to participate in such an important award as that of Arte Laguna Venezia because this would allow the dissemination of a project that has the surreal able to make many more people try a very important emotional experience, which makes them find themselves and remember very well what their life project was when they came to light.
