Skin as a barrier that protects our vulnerabilities from the outside world.
Beyond the wall, beyond the skin, beyond the mask that we wear live
thoughts, emotions, conflicts and weaknesses that make us human.
What is awaiting us "beyond the wall"? If either we are talking
about physical walls, or walls only in our head, all of us have their own wall
to overcome. There is always a "here" and a "there" beyond
the wall and finding what lays on the other side can demand some courage or
just curiosity. The wall here represented is not made out of bricks but of
captured emotions, isolated from the context, that live their own life, that
need no other to sustain themselves. Every element had been carefully removed
from complete paintings with the aim to go beyond the human depiction. The
missing part is not needed because it is in this apparent chaotic ensemble,
where stroke and color are taken out of context, that we can perceive a
vibration on the surface. The wall is cumbersome, it invades the observer's
space, comes out of the physical wall and into the third dimension to reflect
the observer's emotions, giving a shape to discomforts and frustrations that
every one of us have. The spaces between every painting represent the vent, the
unexpected scream we utter when nobody is listening...

indossiamo vivono pensieri, emozioni, conflitti e debolezze che
ci rendono
esseri umani.
Cosa ci aspetta “Oltre il muro”? Che si tratti di muri
fisici o mentali ognuno
bastano a sé stesse.
nessuno ci sente…
