As far as the expression of basic properties of straight lines - horizontal and vertical I can compare them in my work to black and white. Both colors are deaf, silent, quiet - similarly and both lines are mute. Going further, black and white are achromatic. The same can be applied to horizontal and vertical - height and horizon. Level - lying, vertical - standing, walking, moving, move up. Passivity - activity. Relatively, femininity - masculinity. In the white and black are contained connotations top and bottom analogous to the vertical and horizontal. Black and white are the most opposite as heaven and earth, but however we read deeply hidden kinship two colors are silent. Color is the completion of each image. From it depends the mood of the artwork and its impact on the recipient. The instrument of my expression is black and white. Using black and dynamic, diagonal composition I attract the viewer’s gaze and extract from image of the most important elements such as long asymmetrical lines. Kandinsky of horizontal line, assigns the value of black color and defines it as more compressed cold form of movement in the infinity: cool lyric poetry. While the vertical line assigns the value of color white and defines it as more compressed warm form of movement in the infinity: dramatic tension.
