I work in different disciplines and techniques and use glass to "draw" by projecting temporary images that rival the materiality of my sculptures and installations. The works speak of the fragility of memories and the traces of memory. I reflect on what is real and what is illusory, questioning the objectivity of perception.
Traces that long for three-dimensionality, residues of memory that freeze for a few moments, but are unstable and show us their mutable nature; Memories are made of a fragile material like glass that escapes us like water through our fingers.
They are "wounded" pieces that are reconstructed in a symbolic and literal sense, forming an intimate archeology of what captures our attention, often without being aware of it. Works that recovers what perhaps never existed.
