Nikola Tesla Flying Machine Prototype I

This particular piece was inspired by the book The Fantastic Inventions of Nikola Tesla. The largest of the circles was designed on a Auto Cad program and then placed into a water-jet machine to be cut out each design with precision. The very top ring has a multiple of other images that have been chemically etched into the aluminium to give the piece a more ancient aesthetic. An internal lighting system has been wired and placed into the  inner cavity of the piece.
