NATURAL VISION
Glass, acrylic, silver leaf, plastic, steel, copper, plexiglass, polycarbonate, brass and PVC crystal tube.
This sculpture is intended to be a reconstruction of the human eye cell that manages to split light into the natural color spectrum. In the first months of life man sees only moving shadows and then slowly begins to focus increasingly on detailed and colorful images. The organ that allows us to catalog, recognize and attribute meaning to each image captured by our eyes is definitely the brain. But if we imagine excluding the latter from its filter function, how and what are the things we see everyday?
