This piece is an ode to the archetype of the mother and is named as my son Nalum, which precisely appeals to the Mayan concept Na' Lu' Um' which means Mother Earth. Symbolically, it is the first piece I have made after experiencing motherhood and therefore the color palette is inspired by this new Being that now accompanies me.
