MIS MILAGROS

Made at Ceiba Grafica printmaking centre, Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico. 2016
Three months production artist residency focused on the technique of lithography on stone . The image belongs to the set of works: “Mis Milagros” 12 original lithographies representing body parts. I created the series thinking of ancient anatomy atlas.
“Milagros” in Spanish means “miracle” as well as “ex-voto”, I reflected about sacrality of human body and its incredible variety of shapes and forms.
