minamo

"minamo" means water surface in Japanese.These works can change the shapes with interaction by viewers.  I wanted to create a new relationship with space that enable to talk with.
One uses three-dimensional Origami.A fan is hidden inside and if people approach, the sensors catch and the fan starts moving and Origami change the shape.
Another one uses bamboo.Bamboos move with controlled motor. By clapping of hands, you can stop and move the bamboo movement. The shape of the space changes.
