The artist inhabits life on a flat surface of paper with the help of a surgical blade thus creating a magical image, a dowry, an illusion, a three dimensional vision, "a fingerprint". The paper is an inexpensive and light material. By driving a high-precision scalpel, capable of carving "life", the fingerprint, a symbol of individuality, the artist breaks dimensional boundaries and transforms the paper into an object of value. Just like life and freedom, always a creative struggle towards light, an endless circle of birth and death.
Greek author's, Nikos Kazantzakis spiritual exercises from the "Saviors of God" have been carefully placed in a sacred and spiral manner, along the life lines, «WE COME from a dark abyss, WE END in a dark abyss, and we call the luminous interval life. As soon as we are born the return begins, at once the setting forth and the coming back; we die in every moment" (Translated by Kimon Friar)
