A matrix, a network that invisibly unites all things, like the Indra network of the Indians, like the divine matrix of Western esotericism, belongs to us and we belong to it. The work is a cast, a low relief of signs and imprints. It is made on the shoreline, directly on the sand and with the help of polyurethane foams and epoxy resins. Sand for me is a metaphor for a paradoxical dichotomous continuum, because it is self and other than itself, it is a small grain and a beach, it is the individual man and the cultural narrative to which he belongs. We are all part of this matrix, but we think we are uniquely individualities like those signs / seeds spaced and separated from each other. Today more than ever, given the difficult contingencies we are experiencing, we must develop a transpersonal perception of existence.
