My work explores the intrinsic bond we have with nature and claims that a new way of relating with it has to come, being a crucial and constant theme in my artwork to reconnect with Mother Earth. Involved in public space projects, as a way to raise awareness and make a statement about actual themes such as environmental issues that affect us as humanity, as well as our jeopardize relation with our Mother Earth, which we are part of. Have made and collaborated in several community and social collective projects, as consider art is a great way of interacting with the community and generate social transformation along with it.
I have created the Art Awareness Project Marine Metamorphosis, which seeks to sensitize people, through linking art and colaboration with the comunity, about important actual problems that exist in our Planet, as ocean waste due to the excessive generation of waste we produce and arrives to the ocean, affecting the life of millions of marine animals and all the food chain, which we are part of. They are made in collaboration with Education Institutes, Environmental Organizations and people commited with the protection of marine ecosystems, seeking to generate awareness of our shared responsability of taking care of hour common home.
In the projectscollective clean ups of the body waters as rivers, lakes and ocean are carried, workshops to sensitize about the importance of taking care and honor our Planet, and co-creating workshops of art and recycling, using recycled materials out of the collective clean ups.
