(The vanished man)
When a man die, when an artist die, and his body decays, all that's left are his thoughts.
All that remains is what he did with his hands, to satisfy his mind. But in this piece I’ve decided to keep his face, not his brain or his hands, because I think that art is the way we interface with the world.
In this piece, the whole body of the artist is vanished, decomposed, leaving his empty clothes on the floor. He has two coin on his eyes to pay Caron’s Obol, and two pencil which are a tribute to Cattelan’s “Charlie don’t surf”, as if that boy was free, now.
