L'EMBELLIE

Like most of my sculptures, it is about roundness and smoothness, this is what I research the most when I work. "L'Embellie" is a French word meaning "getting more beautiful". This work was a new challenge for me because it was my first piece made out of fiber glass and resin. I started this sculpture on polyurethane foam and I found this yellowish color pretty ugly but as I was working on it I started seeing the beauty of l'Embellie.
