struttura esterna in
erba palustre e,
affetto e sono a me care.
formazione in
In quest'opera, e
a dilatarsi verso
l'esterno
desiderando nuovi futuri
contatti.
"IN-Touch",
an unpublished artwork belonging a new set of works based upon the
use of paper and other natural elements;
A nest-cocoon shape,
externally developed by a marsh grass structure, while internally a
set of paper weaves, completely lined its heart like as if were a
warm blanket.
The fragments in
this paper coating's are real details of photographs that portray me
hugging, kissing or simply toucing people for whom I feel love and
that are close to me.
Some of them are
fragments of a distant past, black and white memories, instead other
are more recent shots, till the last pictures made at the beginning
of the year.
For some time now,
my work has been focused at the concept of indivitual identity and
his realization in relationship with with the other, with the
community ("Stormi" series).
In this artwork, and
with the previous one "Cocoonest", I have concentrated
myself on the individuality of the single, at his own inside world,
intimate and personal, and how inevitably the relationship and the
meetings with others influence him in more or less deep way.
In this case, what
characterize the work and delineate its guiding thread are the
photos, placing attention at the concept of touch and at the
necessity to touch the other to feel ourself physically: a need
rediscovered only with the deprivation of the same sensation.
The nest is
therefore a metaphor for interiority and for deepest and most
visceral sensitivity. Throught its covering, that is the intertwining
of feelings and emotions, it continues to grow and to expand outward,
eager for the genesis of new contacts with others.
