Surrounded by a wooden frame, two golden chains are supporting a scratchcard, which is not scratched off but cut in half. The artist has ripped up the card that could make him a millionaire and has thus given up to the illusory promises given by today's capitalist society, where the motto is “everything, immediately and effortlessly". The artist leaves the possibility of an easy and immediate material wealth and places at the centre of his being those values that the mankind is selling out. At the same time, however, he takes up the opportunity of being what he wants to be in his life: an artist.
