Human mandala (2010)
Relief, aluminum, three pieces,
diameter from 33, 42 , 57 cm, depth 18cm
The work was originally created in textile and was later cast in
aluminum.
Everything in nature has a regular geometric algorithm in its essence,
only man and his acts are subject to irregularities and mistakes.
Through the slow process of shaping the circular form and with slight
movements
the form enters the space. The
slight movements suggests human mistakes, so an irregular mandala is created.
Concentric geometric structure as a symbolic visual representation that
focuses on attention, like a mandala.
Allowing part of associative properties, the problem is solely based on visual
and meditative visual experience.
