The work “Connections” represents a neuron that make connections with
anonymous book, arranged in such a way that they don’t show the cover, but its pages.
Creators and conductors of a narrative that has its roots in the very
essence of being, neurons allow dialogue
between humans.
In this artwork a neuronal
cell makes synapses with a book and it feeds on the
written word.
It is a hymn to knowledge and
existence itself. Art praises culture
and vice versa. Both are essential because they can help man to observe, to know and to have self-awareness itself.
My work reflects on relationship between communication and man.
Art is a strong communication tool and my continuous need
to get in touch with the other means immense hope of liberation from cosmic
solitude.
Between
existential fragility and vital bulimia, I try to connect with my fellow human
beings, to nature, and to the constant precipice on which to operate
the mechanisms of equilibrium.
