The world in which humans exist is made up of continuous interaction between what is visible and invisible, material and space, and things with and without form. Among the ‘Arrangement series’, ‘Gridscape 01’ is a work based on the structure of the grid. As the name suggests, this work is grounded on the concept of the ‘grid’. The grid is a common structure in everyday life and a fundamental organizational principle. The grid begins with two horizontal and two vertical lines, expressed as an independent essence according to its compartmentalization. It also serves to divide, align, and connect spaces. By exploring the attributes of the grid through ‘fiber’, a flexible yet powerful medium, the aim is to visualize unseen connections and structures.
