The object is made from an old birdhouse. The names of real noble estates of the late 19th – early 20th centuries are burnt on it. The design of the object and the name itself refers to "skladen'" (a special type of icons for travelers that can fold). The names of the estates are taken from the post-revolutionary memoirs of Russian emigrants. This list is both a collective memory and a collective fantasy about a home, about one's own "nest". The object's turnover is painted gold, as a symbol of value and a reminder of bygone luxury.
