I explored how over centuries art was influenced by music and vice verse. After studying the phenomena of Synesthesia I came across a fact that most artists who had synesthesia phenomenal starting from the 19th century expressed their phenomenon only with colors in 2D paintings but never in 3D form and sculptures, even though each musical note has its own volume, which could be transported into a shape. While experimenting with clay, listening to music, and studying the color patterns of synesthesia I could not avoid the fact that for me music also had a 3-dimensional presence which I expressed with this work, in which I fused music, colors, and shapes into one art piece while listening to Vivaldi “ Winter” on top volume in an empty studio. ( To feel and experience all components of the art piece, the viewer suppose to listen to the song while exploring the artwork).
