Mixed media installation consisting of 112 individual sculptures, all derived from plastic waste salvaged from landfill, 2024.

Will you adopt me? | replace a flowering plant species extinct in the wild, a mutation created from LDPE, PET, polyethylene, phthalates, bisphenols and a cocktail of 10,000 different compounds that affect my consistency, durability and color.
How old am I? | was born in 2024, however | will only decompose from 450 to a 1000 years from now. Extinction is irreversible. It’s only a matter of time before temporary live species are to be replaced by permanent plastic mutations that can live past your lifetime
