The word “Totem” comes from the Indian term “Ototeman”. Its meaning is: kinship relationships between humans, animals and the environment. Evolution is the union/kinship of two large mammals on our planet, both at risk of extinction. the Elephant represents the earth and is the symbol of the spirit of tradition and memory, the Whale symbolizes the sacredness of life and knowledge given to the world at the origin of time. Every living species on our planet has a molecular genetic heritage that can be translated into mathematical models. The balance of the imposing sculpture that unites the two worlds, terrestrial and marine, is given from the steel spine which has a hexagonal structure and resembles a very precise molecular geometry bond. Its double calendering reconstructs the aura spiral; the relationship par excellence which in nature is equivalent to balance and survival. The sculpture was created while maintaining the natural dimensions of the mammals.
