GUNIA Project introduces a captivating sculptural artwork titled 'Divchyna,' which transports viewers to a world steeped in tradition. The ceramic head of a young girl adorned with exquisite jewelry, boasting delicate movable elements, forms an enchanting ensemble of sculpture and jewelry. Drawing inspiration from a captivating image found within the Middle Naddniprianshchyna region, carefully preserved within the esteemed Ivan Honchar Museum collection, our artisans have meticulously crafted a highly detailed rendition of the mesmerizing 'Divchyna.'
The earrings, known as 'Lehin', are a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Hutsul people, drawing inspiration from their vibrant painted tiles. Additionally, we have delved into the depths of archive photos from the enchanting regions of Podillia and Kyiv, unearthing hidden gems that have influenced the creation process. Fusing these diverse influences has resulted in a truly unique and captivating piece of art.
