This is a self-sound portrait made with forks tuned to my elements of my own voice. Created during this difficult time of separation and isolation, I sought to represent myself by the disambiguation of that which is uniquely me: my voice. This work plays on 6 independent channels, through the forks, randomized so it always sounds differently. By analyzing my own voice, then taking it apart into its constituent formants, I am able to reorganize the fundamentals of communication, or lack thereof, in a time where identity is relative.
