Marerial: polaroid photo,monitor.
My interest for this subject begins in 2012, when the almost whole collection of Cornelius Girlit was found in his apartment which was found on display in Minhenon 19th of August 1937, which was organized by the Nazis, by the name: "Entartete Kunst" (Degenerate Art). That was shortlisted for the selection of Assab One, Milan, Italy, international competition which was organized by Celeste prize in 2014.
I recently got inspiration on the same subject from the Internet, selected the photos from the same exhibition. I subsequently colorized them, raised the resolution, and put them in the original format to look like polaroid photos. (As it is known, the polaroid camera makes instant photos, immediately after the photo has been snapped).
Fiction and Idea are: "Author" was on the mentioned exhibition and shot the film. (10 photos are the standard for polaroid packages).
The first commercial polaroid camera was realised in 1949. (Nazi Degenerate Art Exhibition 1937).
I installed the video work and completely showcased in digital frame, and together with polaroid photos they make a new video and photo installation in 70x50 cm. Exhibition from 1937, polaroid cameras from 1949 and digital frame from photos from 2007 make an inconvenient connection in the installation.
