How many ways you can read a text?
How many ways can a text be read?
Decomposition and Composition or vice versa is part of a works series inspired by the movement of Visual Poetry.
By making art coincide with life, where the behavior in society becomes the topic of the artist’s analysis, the aim becomes trying to make visible, give more forms, to a common space of communication, separating itself from the normal language’s code.
Identify this work-space as a boundary, we avoid the risk to fall into something static, because how you can be in a boundary without the precarious sensation to walk on a line, where your body try constantly to find a sort of equilibrium?
The artwork is composed of twenty transparent plexiglass papers with the same text print on each one. The same action of adding the text is followed by work on the composition into a limited space as the page. Playing with the size and orientation of the text on the surface let the written language being in a different way, it can be watched from another point of view that is out of common. The twenty examples are just a part of the multiple aspects that the text used can embody, the other possibilities can come out during the time by combining the different elements through juxtapositions, combinations and compositions of them into the exhibition space.
The process has the aim of playing with the linguistic codes from which to extract and give new shapes to new images. The purpose is to stimulate the imagination and walking the viewer to a dynamic way of seeing the objects of our quotidianly, in this case, the written language.
The action to unhinging the stereotype, the static form, the static thinking, carries out, instead, a dynamic and social image that is not characterized by a single language.
