Size: 77x55x5 cm for each; 77x250x5 cm in total

Decanter is part of series “Zaffo”: a reflection about the emptiness and the absence that we can feel after the death of a loved one.

A decanter is a vessel that is used to hold the decantation of a liquid which may contain sediment.

In this work the pain takes a deep breath, becomes a layer, becomes stratified.

Time creates several levels of memory.

On the surface, deep emotions, emerge from the void.

Wounds never heal.
