Proceeding
with the search for symbolic and material lightness, I started experimenting
with a new method that I've called "Lightness Technique", in which I cut
and assemble recycled cardboard to form the molds in which I pour the porcelain
or other liquid clays I have prepared, to create the vases I've designed. I like
the imperfection of the shape due to this process and the geometric texture
that the cardboard imprints on the surface of the vases when the clay is still
fresh!
The desire to obtain new textures prompted me to try a type of cardboard for the mold. This is why "Curiosity" has fine lines on the surface.
