I imagined this work as a condensed archeological site where natural, organic elements cross-con-
taminate with inorganic, polluting ones. By using the objects that I make the work with, reusing
the art materials inside of the work’s composition, upcycling the waste I produce as an artist and
creating from matter, objects and things that have been destroyed, I unravel the interchangeable
destruction and creation processes. Everything is nature and the transformative power of life and
objects is highlighted in this work. The metamorphic level reveals itself not only through the ag-
glutination of disparate matter, but also through the grey, protective skin that animates the entire
sculpture in a unitary and yet fragmented corpus.
