This work was carried
out in 2018 at the Sampedro Textile Industry (Lordelo, Portugal), one of the
centers of excellence in the world for the production of Jacquard. It addresses
issues related to the continuum and reading of nature as a delicately woven lace.
It poetics involve weft, weaving, rather than ink and printing, therefore
Jacquard's technique was chosen for production on digital looms, which in turn
refer to the initial records in digital camera and composition through graphic
software. Its dimensions are 170 x 330 cm, but when exposed as an installation
can have variable dimensions. Next to Continuous II, they make up a diptych
"positive x negative", which can also be displayed as a facility with
varying dimensions. Both belong to the series "Lace
Cartography".
