The summer of 2018 in Italy, was characterized by a long period of high
temperatures and low rainfall which confirmed the seriousness and urgency of
the situation by indicating an increasing vulnerability to desertification,
salinization, loss of organic carbon in the soil, loss of biodiversity with an

These clods of earth were collected a few decades ago in the geologically youngest area of Italy, when there was no talks about climate change or desertification.
Now that this process is already in an advanced state due to the wild exploitation of the soil not only in the southern parts of the world, but also in Europe, the focus must shift to the CARE for the land, for the soil.
