CAVALIERE INESISTENTE(NON EXISTING KNIGHT)
The first impression we get from this work is that of a warrior in an almost theatrical pose in which the subterranean and unconscious element reveals itself by taking on its own form and language. If the inspiration is oneiric and loose, equally loose remains the creative act that can go so far as to transcend the initial idea. The creation of the sculpture is an interaction with weights, measures, proportions, volumes and materials, which activates an experiential flow in which the elements direct the work in progress beyond what was the initial project. The sculpture's power of synthesis involves neither sex nor heart, there has been a taking away from what seems human to arrive at a more abstract and immaterial language, where the protagonist is emptiness.
