These works, part of a larger series called ÉIDŌLA, investigate the primordial and exotic spirituality of imaginary, distant cultures. They are 'simulacra' that, in the artist's belief, can awaken the 'savage thinking' in contemporary man and trigger a reconnection with the ancestral, yet dormant, side buried in all of us.
