Last Super
The Last Supper - is an attempt at a dialogue with the great work of Leonardo da Vinci. The intention of the artistic work was not to
translate the vision of the Master, but to refer to the present and future of the human race.
12 bottles with paintings made in mixed artistic technique depicting the figures of the 12 apostles. The bottles symbolize vessels filled with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The woman is mean, she draws on her gut feeling, the man is up, rational. The middle is the most important. In meditation, the goal is to reach the middle, to reach Femini. In every man there is also Femini, he just has to allow it and discover it in himself. It has always been a conflict between a woman and a man. It is finally time to untie this hardened knot, end this conflict and accept each other as equals
In 2012 I made small colored lace of Last Supper with female apostles, instead of male apostles. I forgot about the sketch for a few years. In 2015 I rediscovered and became aware of my past - it still took time - my two unfortunate events from my life (Częstochowa and Forest Story), which shaped my artistic perspective, I photographically staged the female Apostle Line in the Last Supper. I worked on the motif in the table positive image for almost a year, every single object and figure was built by me, it's all real, not installed digitally. When the motif of the upper part of the picture was finished, the picture took a few years until I felt a strong need to develop it further in 2022-2023. The lower part of the image was then created as negative. For the picture I put a real three meter long table with a black tablecloth, as the picture is, but instead of all the eggs, there are wine bottles with labels from Men Apostles.Inspired by Black Madonna picture in theJasna Góra Monastery in Częstochowa Pl, the picture will be revealed later closed again, so I used dark red curtains that hang on the picture, which reveal the picture and allow it to be closed again
