This is a silicone replica of my butt with a tramp stamp tattoo of my social media handle. The power social media has to inform and dictate trends is overwhelming. This piece explores the ways in which the digital images fed to us shape our thoughts and desires and can influence personal identity. This piece speaks to current trends as some young people are receiving tramp stamps signalling the current y2k trend revival. It also parodies the current emphasis being placed on branding oneself, and performance to stay relevant in the digital world.
