Layers of
architecture, history and esteem.
What would happen if
some of the historical layer were eliminated?
With a clash of two
completely different historical and architectural layers it is showed that
boundary can be found. Jewish cemeteries of 19th century crosses with brutal
architecture building of the 20th century when Lithuania have been a part of
Soviet Union. To commemorate history of this place a part of existing building
was taken. It is the only part in the whole complex which does not transgress a
border of cemeteries. A part of this building was converted into
sculpture which shows a section of existing building.
