This overview of the site-relational
installation, Black #2, (2020) illustrates its unitarian presence. The
execution of this work involved covering the two main studio walls in
gold acrylic paint from the entrance and around onto the west and north
walls creating a golden alcove. The paint is applied with overarching
brush strokes referencing, in part, early decorative wallpaper patterns

floor of the studio, a square of oil tar sands (121.92 x 121.92 cm) is
set at a 45 degree angle to the corner where the west and north walls
meet. The painterly gestures seen with the tar application echo the gold
paint brush strokes on the studio walls
