The idea
of thinking that our existence and our way of life depends on a bank of time
has led me to reflect metaphorically that each day we download our life card. When
we make a purchase, we are paying with money, money that comes from our work.
Work that occupies and eats our time. So, every time we pay, we are spending
our real time. Without forgetting that consumerism leads us to spend our time
on totally unnecessary, superfluous and expendable things. So consumerism is a
waste of life time.
