Artifacts, dissolution, consumption, passage of time, "signs" that make up the record; the use of fragments of metal sheets and various metal parts as well as calks - blacksmith's nails for shoeing horses exposed to time operation makes a cuneiform impression. The work is performed on a primer made composite board. The surface of the board has been subjected to an action that created a texture that gives a specific ornament that is a background or "something that was before" for "record". The work is an installation but in a form similar to a painting with three-dimensional elements; in the outer contour it is similar to a rectangle measuring 93x42 cm but it is not quite regular form, therefore it should be placed at a certain distance from the wall on which it would be exposed. The work is next of the series using irregular composite boards "dozens of old plywood" and elements treated to long-lasting action of time - "rusty" fragments of sheet metal, fastenings, nuts, screws
