Concept
From the beginning of human history, people have felt that they are not alone in the universe. There is something above us: higher reason, nature, God or something else. Something that could hardly be explained. Maybe higher forces observe us and show us their presence.
In every culture, people try to explain phenomena of nature through images which could be intelligible to them.
By researching the mythology of different nations, we note the uniqueness and the unity of their understanding of the world in ancient times. It’s like the same story, told by different people, which acquires special details because of each people’s personality, location, and experience but still reflects the same core.
The story about Adam and Eve and The Paradise Tree (The World Tree, Arbor Mundi, The Tree of Life) is one of the most ancient stories in the world. The Tree of Life could be an apple tree or a palm, an oak or a sequoia, an antiar or a sycamore. The first people made of clay or dust have various names and skin colours.
