Alienated world 2.0, is a stop motion piece that pays homage to those souls who have lost their battle with the Coronavirus (Covid19). Small chairs are presented in the form of an implied narrative within the space. Chairs are symbolically used to represent the memory of the deceased. A thousand little chairs slither on the ground, in great numbers, invading the domestic space, moving and exploring the different corners of the house at speed. They are trying to break through and to become a part of something bigger, perhaps. Michal Rovner's (Frequency - a trace of life project), Gormley's Field (1989), and Sarah Sze's Extended play (1998) are the major sources of inspiration.
