A coger y a mamar que el mundo se va a acabar is a Mexican saying that translates to “to fucking and to sucking because the world is ending”. It is a piece that is an existential shelter, an escape, a protection, a talisman, a negligence and a way to deal with impotence. I feel an immense impotence facing a world that is crumbling, that spares nothing and that we are killing. I needed it to be a blanket to allude to the negligence with which I cover myself with. It is a shelter facing my eco anxiety, the geopolitical state of the world and finally, facing death. This is a blanket that covers me from a desperately uncertain world.
