3 years of living

This tower is made with a module of 3x3 empty oil barrels, for a total amount of 27 barrels.

Each barrel contains 200 litres of liquid and it's mean to be a diesel counter of my daily moving. Each floor of the tower represents the amount of fuel that I use, every year, for moving, living, working so I showed here which is my carbon footprint on just three years of ordinary life.

The meaning of this artwork is to show something hide and unseen, something that we daily ignore like the price of our wellness and progress.

This installation can be repeated as bigger as the location allows. 27 barrels is the minimum size but could be increased observing a modularity of 9 nine barrels (9 barrels are equal to 1 year of my life).
