"I insert and merge images and instantly I feel the strength that emerges from this new photographic assemblage. Sarah Gobeil is inspired by futuristic creatures to give birth to surreal characters. Bolts, heterogeneous mechanical parts from today or from a bygone era come to life and obtain a new identity. Through her lens, she captures the deep essence of her subjects.  The physical characteristics of her different models feed her creative process. The first canvas selected guides the choice of the second photograph to be applied in order to obtain the perfect photographic assemblage. The fluidity of the fusion of the images remains his priority.
